The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Sushant Singh Rajput’s domestic aide Dipesh Sawant on Saturday in connection with the drug investigation linked to the late actor’s death.
“NCB arrested Dipesh Sawant, the house aide of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, in connection with the late actor’s death case,” said NCB Deputy Director KPS Malhotra.
“The arrest was made based on statements and digital evidence against Sawant for his role in the acquisition and manipulation of drugs. He will be presented in court tomorrow at 11 am. Cross-examination of those arrested is underway, ”Malhotra added.
The lead defendant’s brother, Showik Chakraborty, of Rhea Chakraborty, and Rajput hourse manager Samuel Miranda were arrested by the OCN under the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) on Friday and sent into the custody of the OCN. until September 9. Showik will face his sister, who will be summoned for questioning on September 6.
The NCB launched an investigation after receiving a communication from the Directorate of Enforcement (ED), in which there were talks related to the consumption, acquisition, use and transport of drugs in connection with the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput .
