Sushant Singh Rajput’s teacher remembers him on Teacher’s Day: “He wasn’t one of those who could do this” | Hindi Movie News

“Sincere, easy going, easy going,” is remembered by the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s teacher, who taught him engineering, on this Teacher’s Day, even as the world struggles to label it “bipolar, addicted and depressed.” His teacher also refuses to believe that he can commit suicide and demands “justice” for him.

“He was very sincere, very calm and very quiet in class. I cannot comment on his activities outside of class. But he was not the type that could do this (take his own life). I could never have imagined this.” Professor RC Singh, who taught Sushant kinematics (the science of describing the motion of objects) at Delhi University of Technology, formerly known as Delhi School of Engineering, told a media source.

Sometimes Sushant was so quiet in class that Singh wondered if the late actor was understanding what he was being taught. So he often walked to where Sushant used to sit. “Then I would realize that he was catching everything. In fact, if asked, he would also explain. Following mechanical engineering despite being a topper at the entrance, was his own choice,” he said.

Sushant Singh Rajput had obtained the seventh place in the engineering entrance examination in 2003. After this, Sushant turned to mechanical engineering. However, he took a break from studies and began acting in the third year of the course. Sushant shifted his focus to theater and dance during his college days, where he found his true calling.

As the nation celebrates Teachers’ Day, Singh fondly remembered a talented student who left too soon. But he also wants “justice” for Sushant. “On this Teacher’s Day, I pray that his soul may rest in peace and that his family has the courage to face this situation. I also want to say that given the investigations that are being carried out, I hope that he receives justice,” he said.

Speaking to the media source, Singh also spoke about what he feels are Bollywood’s ‘shortcomings’. “I hope that the field he was in and his shortcomings are corrected. That will be justice for him and his family will get peace.” Singh’s statement takes on significance in the context of all kinds of wild theories that fly fast and fast. Last night, tightening the noose around Rhea Chakraborty, Sushanta’s girlfriend and now a suspect, the Bureau of Narcotics Control arrested her brother Showik and Rajput cleaning manager Samuel Miranda as part of their investigation into the angle of the drugs in the death of the Bollywood star.

On June 14, Sushant was found dead at his home in Mumbai. At that time, the Mumbai police had concluded that it was a suicide case.
