Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s family has long maintained that they had no idea of his deteriorating mental health. However, the chat messages shared between Sushant and his sister Priyanka reveal otherwise.
India Today has agreed to a text conversation between the brothers, dated June 8, the day his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty left their home. The talks show Priyanka not only recommending anxiety medications, but also obtaining a prescription for him without an actual consultation with the doctor.
Here’s the chat:
Priyanka: First take (name of medicine) for a week and then start with (name of medicine) 10 mg once a day after breakfast. Keep (name of medication) handy whenever there is an anxiety attack.
Sushant: ok Sonudi.
Sushant: No one will give without a prescription
Priyanka: Let me see if i manage
A missed voice call
Priyanka: Babu call me .. I have to send the recipe.
Priyanka: My friend is a reputed doctor who can connect you with the best doctor in Mumbai confidentially … so don’t worry
Priyanka: Just call
Priyanka then sends an attachment (the prescription for the drug)
Priyanka: Babu this is the recipe
Priyanka: It’s from Delhi but it shouldn’t matter. In any case, it can be said that it is in online consultation.
Sushant: Ok, thank you very much Sonadi.
The medications mentioned are anti-anxiety and depression medications. In another set of messages recently accessed between Sushant’s other sister, Nitu, and former manager Shruti Modi, it is revealed that the two had exchanged information about the details of Sushant’s treatment.
India Today shared their chat from Nov 26, 2019 in which Shruti had told Nitu on WhatsApp: “Hi, this is Shruti. I’ll be outside, “to which Nitu replied,” Hi Shruti, please send me all of Dr.’s recipes. ” Shruti then sent the names of the prescription drugs to Sushant. Nitu had also told Shruti: “I would also like to meet the Dr. who can go home (sic)”, to which Shruti replied, “Sure.”

Speaking to India Today, Rhea’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde, said that this proves that Sushant’s family has been making false statements to different agencies. He added that they should be prosecuted for it.
Rhea faces a CBI investigation into a suicide instigation case brought by Rajput’s father. She also faces an investigation for money laundering by the Enforcement Directorate and another investigation by the Narcotics Control Office (NCB).
