Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared a jubilant tweet after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducted a raid on Rhea Chakraborty’s home Friday morning. “Well done NCB… Thank goodness. #GreatStartNCB, ”he wrote on Twitter.
The NCB joined the investigation into Sushant’s death after the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) found evidence of a drug angle while investigating financial wrongdoing. The late actor’s family has alleged that Rhea administered drugs to him without his knowledge, an accusation that she has denied.

NCB sources told the Hindustan Times that the names of Sushant’s home manager, Samuel Miranda, and Rhea’s brother, Showik Chakraborty, were revealed during questioning of two suspected drug traffickers. The agency conducted searches at their residences on Friday morning and summoned them for questioning at their office in South Mumbai.
A senior NCB IPS official said: “Some evidence has been collected from Miranda and Showik’s home during searches. But the investigation is at a very preliminary stage and details of the evidence gathered at her residence cannot be released at this time.

Previously, in an interview for India Today, Rhea denied any link to drugs and claimed that Sushant was a recreational marijuana user. “Yes, Sushant used to smoke marijuana, he used to use it even before he met me. She started this during Kedarnath. I used to control it only in this department. He was a man of his own making and no one could stop him, ”he said.
Rhea’s attorney, Satish Maneshinde, had also issued a statement that she had never taken drugs in her life and was willing to undergo a blood test to prove it.
Sushant’s father, KK Singh, filed a FIR against Rhea in July, alleging instigation of suicide. Vikas Singh, the lawyer representing Sushant’s family in the case against Rhea, said at a press conference on Wednesday: “After the events that unfolded after the FIR registration, the family has doubts that it could also be a murder. But we leave it to the investigation. We hope the CBI gets to the bottom of this. “
