Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend writes to Prime Minister Modi as ‘justice’ banners pasted on Mount Blanc

More than a month has passed since the Central Bureau of Investigation took over the investigation into the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Since officials have yet to announce any major breakthroughs, it appears that the patience of the late actor’s family and friends is wearing thin. After the family’s lawyer questioned CBI’s delay in turning the case of complicity in suicide into homicide, now his friends Smita Parikh and Nilotpal Mrinal have also made strong statements, seeking justice for SSR.

Smita Parikh took to Twitter to send a strong message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She wrote that people from all over the world had sought her help with regard to justice for Sushant Singh Rajput. She called it a “brutal murder” and added that the world had “high hopes” of the leader in his search.

Another friend of the SSR family, Nilotpal Mrinal, shared how posters of Sushant Singh Rajput had been posted in various locations in Mumbai. One of them was installed near Mount Blanc, the building in which SSR last breathed.

“I was one of you. Do you deserve justice? Me too, ”I read the message on the banner, along with the hashtag #JusticeforSushantSinghRajput.

On Saturday, SSR’s family lawyer, Vikas Singh, had stated that he was “frustrated” that the CBI had not presented Sushant Singh Rajput’s case as a murder case. He claimed that a doctor on the AIIMS team, who is working on the forensic death report, had told him ‘200 percent’ that Sushant had died by strangulation and not by hanging.

Aside from CBI, ED is investigating embezzlement charges against Rhea Chakraborty, the main defendant in the case. Rhea has been arrested for her alleged involvement in a drug cartel. The spotlight has now turned to more actresses, as Rakul Preet Singh was questioned on Friday while the interrogation of Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor was underway.
