Sushant Singh Rajput was close to his mother, not his father; did not believe his illness could be cured: Susan Walker to Mumbai police – bollywood

Susan Walker, the psychotherapist who was treating Sushant Singh Rajput, told Mumbai police that the actor had been medicated for anxiety “when he was young.” Sushant died on June 14 and Susan has recorded that, in her professional opinion, the actor suffered from bipolar disorder.

India Today had access to his statement to the Mumbai police. In it, she had said that Sushant’s illness had worsened over the years and that she was convinced that it would never be cured. Sushant was aware of her condition, she said, because she had received treatment for anxiety when she was young. His condition had deteriorated in 2013-14, which is when he is also said to have consulted professionals about it, according to his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.

Susan said in her statement: “Her anxiety had increased a lot in 2013-14. When she was young, she had taken the drug Adderall, twice a week to increase her concentration, as a treatment for ADHD. Was very shy. Therefore, her companions used to tease her. When he was between 15 and 16 years old, his mother passed away due to a panic attack. As he told me, he was very close to his mother. After his death, he was close to his sister, but I did not find him close to his father. Mr. Sushant Singh spoke about space, astronomy and physics. “

She said that after her first meeting with him, Sushant seemed to be extremely anxious. “Taking a scale of 1 to 10 for anxiety, her mental condition had reached a 9,” she said.

Based on her conversations with Rhea, the psychotherapist said that she felt that Rhea was taking very good care of Sushant, but that he was negligent with her illness. She said that in June, Rhea approached her to tell her that Sushant had stopped taking medication once again and that her mental health was deteriorating. Sushant died by suicide on June 14.

Sushant’s family’s lawyer, Vikas Singh, at a press conference on Wednesday had said that the actor’s family was aware of his anxiety attacks but did not believe he had depression. Sushant’s family has so far been hesitant to accept that the actor suffered from some kind of mental health problem and continues to claim that he was driven to suicide because Rhea drugged him, isolated him and stole his money.
