Sushant Singh Rajput death: NCB makes another arrest in drug case | Hindi Movie News

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested one more person, Jay Madhok, in the drug case. This is the 22nd arrest, including actor Rhea Chakraborty, by the agency as the Bollywood drug connection in the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput continues to unravel many unsavory truths.

Madhok, who is said to be a management graduate working in the banking sector, was arrested for allegedly using and selling narcotics. NCB area director Sameer Wankhede has confirmed the news of the latest arrest.

Madhok reportedly used to purchase narcotics both for consumption and to supply to his friends. Apparently he had a connection to some of the defendants who had already been arrested in this case, such as Kshitij Prasad. It is believed that they were all part of a single group. Now, NCB is looking for other names. On Thursday, NCB had arrested two more in the drug case.

Investigators believe Madhok had direct ties to a Nigerian national from whom he used to obtain cocaine regularly. During interrogation, Madhok allegedly revealed that he was in contact with Sam aka Rahil Vishram, who used to supply him with hashish.

Previously, the Bombay High Court granted bail to Rhea Chakraborty. However, his brother Showik’s release on bail was rejected due to his closeness and direct ties to suspected drug traffickers.
