On the other hand, the NCB is supposed to issue a subpoena to actress Sara Ali Khan this week to record her statement in connection with the agency’s investigation against the “drug syndicate” that supplied “narcotics to Bollywood.” According to NCB sources, actress Rhea Chakraborty, arrested in the drug case brought in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput death investigation, had named her during her questioning by the agency between September 6 and 9. She didn’t specify which connection Rhea had called her on.
Rhea Chakraborty was previously questioned by the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which are investigating money laundering and complicity with the suicide angles surrounding Rajput’s death, respectively. Rajput was found dead in his apartment in the suburbs of Bandra on June 14.
Meanwhile, The NCB questioned Jaya Saha and famous manager Shruti Modi on a drug-related case on Monday for more than five hours. Saha was questioned for more than five hours by NCB detectives about alleged drug-related conversations. A source from NCB said Saha was also questioned about her drug talks with other celebrities. Sushant and Rhea questioned Shruti Modi about drug use.
