Actor Rakul Preet Singh’s statement was recorded Friday by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with a drug case related to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput in June. The agency also summoned actors Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor, fashion designer Simone Khambatta and famous manager Shruti Modi on Wednesday for the ongoing case.
According to the PTI news agency, 29-year-old Rakul Preet Singh was seen entering the guest house, from where the central agency operates, in Colaba at around 10.30 am “Rakul Preet Singh’s statement was recorded today by the SIT. It will be analyzed and presented in court, ”Mutha Ashok Jain, NCB CEO, told reporters.
NCB said Karishma Prakash, actor Deepika Padukone’s manager, joined the investigation and was called back on Saturday. Karishma Prakash works at the KWAN talent agency.

KWAN CEO Dhruv Chitgopekar and film producer Madhu Mantena also appeared before NCB for questioning on the matter. Shruti Modi, the former business manager of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has also been questioned by NCB.
Padukone, who was in Goa, arrived in Mumbai on Thursday with her husband Ranveer Singh.
According to NCB, Padukone has come forward to join the investigation on Saturday, in connection with a drug case involving the late actor.
Actress Rhea Chakraborty, who was arrested in the drug case, is in judicial custody that has lasted until October 6.
The NCB had initiated an investigation after receiving an official communication from the Directorate of Execution (ED), in which there were several talks related to the consumption, acquisition, use and transport of drugs.
On July 31, the Emergency Department had registered a Compliance Case Information Report in the case of the late actor’s death after Rajput’s father KK Singh filed a First Information Report against Rhea Chakraborty in Bihar on 28 of July. Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai residence on June 14. .
