Actress Rakul Preet Singh reportedly confessed to starting a portion of the ‘drug talks’ with Rhea Chakraborty, but denied using narcotic substances. This update comes shortly after the actress’s 4-hour debriefing with the Office of Narcotics Control which is investigating the drugs angle in the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput.

According to a Times Now report, the actress, who has been part of anti-drug campaigns, vehemently denied having acquired or used narcotic substances. During the interrogation, she also claimed that she had no relationship with any drug trafficker.

The actress was seen arriving home Friday afternoon after recording her statement.

The actress, who was originally scheduled to appear before the agency on Thursday, later confirmed that she will join the investigation on Friday morning.

As Singh was seen arriving at the NCB office early Friday morning, Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash, who was also mentioned in the chats, appeared before the agency around noon.

The NCB will also reportedly investigate Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan on tomorrow’s talks and corroborate their statements.

On Thursday, NCB recorded the statement by former Sushant manager Shruti Modi and fashion designer Simone Khambatta.
