The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is now investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case from the angle of suicide. The 34-year-old actor was found hanged at his Bandra residence on June 14. Mumbai police had initially stated that it was a suicide case and registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) on the same day. Then they began to investigate the cause of the suicide. However, after Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh, filed a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty and others with the Bihar police on July 25, various angles and theories were added to the actor’s death. The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) and the Office of Narcotics Control (NCB) are investigating money laundering and the drugs angle, respectively.
THE CBI INVESTIGATION FOCUSED ON THE SUICIDE OF SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT
The CBI is now focusing only on the reason behind Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide. There are only five of the six research angles which include the Rhea Chakraborty angle, professional rivalry and nepotism in Bollywood, the effect of drug abuse, and the mental health of Sushant Singh Rajput.
NO TEST OF RHEA CHAKRABORTY SIPHONING FUNDS
On June 8, Rhea Chakraborty had moved out of Sushant Singh Rajput’s residence and her sister, Meetu Singh, had moved in with him.
In his complaint to the Bihar police, KK Singh had also alleged that Rhea Chakraborty had diverted a sum of 15 million rupees from the actor’s bank accounts. He also charged her with instigation to suicide.

However, according to CBI, the theory of currency transactions has failed in the course of the CBI investigation. There is nothing concrete in the audit report to suggest that Rhea Chakraborty diverted funds and this led to the suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput.
NO LINK BETWEEN SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT AND DISHA’S DEATHS OUT
Disha Salian, a former manager of Sushant Singh Rajput, died after falling from a tall building on the night of June 8. Various theories linked the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian. The CBI has not found any concrete evidence of a connection between the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian.
ALL ASPECTS ARE LOOKED AT, SAYS CBI Spokesperson
“The CBI investigation into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput is still continuing and all aspects are being scrutinized,” a CBI spokesperson said.
Recently, the AIIMS team of doctors who accompanied the CBI team to help them with the investigation presented their report to the agency. In their report, AIIMS experts ruled out any possibility of foul play and stated that Sushant Singh Rajput’s death was a case of suicide and not murder. Sushant Singh Rajput’s family is unhappy with the AIIMS report and is now demanding a new forensic investigation.
Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty, who was arrested by the Office of Narcotics Control for allegedly acquiring drugs, was released on bail today. She was in judicial custody since September 9. However, Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty remains in court custody as her release on bail was rejected.
