Following various accusations and claims about Sushant Singh Rajput and his family by Rhea Chakraborty and others, the late actor’s family lawyer, Vikas Singh, held a press conference on Wednesday to provide clarification on the issues. Vikas Singh reportedly clarified on the medicines that Sushant’s sister Priyanka prepared for her brother on June 8. He said: “On June 8, Rea left Sushant’s house and he was feeling very anxious. Under these circumstances, Priyanka, who herself takes medicine for anxiety, suggested the same to her brother. She also got a prescription through from an online query. Certain media channels claiming that Sushant’s family was aware of his depression is an attempt to smear them. ”
The lawyer also dismissed claims that Sushant had a life insurance policy and that his family will not receive money if he dies by suicide.
Vikas Singh also added that Sushant’s three sisters and their father are hurt by a false and negative campaign against the family. The campaign is related to your mental health. Despite what was said in FIR, it is being implied that the family knew about his depression and hid it.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14. His mysterious death case is currently being investigated by CBI, ED and NCB.
