Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Lawyer Says Family Feels All Attention Is Diverted To NCB Drug Investigation And NOT To Actor’s Death Investigation | Hindi Movie News

Vikas Singh, the lawyer representing the family of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, expressed disappointment on Friday at the speed with which the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is conducting its investigation into the Bollywood actor’s death.

At a press conference, Singh said: “The family feels that the investigation is moving in a different direction. All attention is shifting to the drug case.”

At the meeting, he reiterated that an AIIMS doctor told him that Sushant’s death was from “strangulation” and not “suicide.” When warned that AIIMS panel Dr. Sudhir Gupta refused to make such a claim, Singh said: “It is up to them to take a call and bring it into the public domain. Only when it is in the public domain will the family be in a position to take a legal break. Right now, we are helpless. We don’t know which way this case is going. ”

Expressing concern about the findings of the case, he added: “Until today, the CBI has not reported what they have found. It is inconceivable that to date they have not found anything, so the ED case will also fail.” They have to take a position quickly on this matter. ”

When asked if he and the family were ‘unhappy’ with the way CBI was investigating the case, he dismissed it saying, “I will not say that I am not happy with the investigation, I am not happy with the speed at which all of this The case goes. It is the speed or the lack of importance that worries us. ”

Early on Friday morning, the lead defender took to his Twitter account to express his anger at the course of this investigation. “Frustrated by the delay in which CBI made the decision to turn complicity in suicide into Murder of SSR,” his tweet read.

In reaction to her tweet, Sushant’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, wrote from her unverified Twitter account: “We have been so patient for so long! How long will it take to find the truth? #SSRDeathCase.”

The CBI began investigating Sushant’s death in August after Mumbai police concluded that the actor died in an apparent suicide. Subsequently, NCB and ED have also connected to assist in the probe.

However, no concrete revelation has yet been made about Sushant’s death.
