In the affidavit filed through her advocate Satish Maneshinde, the actress said that a fabricated and counterfeit prescription was used to help the Rajput purchase drugs that are prohibited by the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS).
“Rajput died just five days after obtaining this prescription, in which he was illegally prescribed psychotropic substances at the urging of his sister (Priyanka) and Dr. Tarun Kumar,” Chakraborty said in his affidavit.
It is necessary to investigate whether the Rajput used the prescription drugs, which may have contributed to his death and / or further deteriorated his mental health, according to the affidavit.
