Sushant Singh Rajput Case: CBI Convenes Rhea Chakraborty’s Parents to Join Investigation | Hindi Movie News


The IWC has taken up the mysterious death case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput from the Mumbai Police and has been investigating it extensively. While Rhea Chakraborty is expected to return today for the fifth round of questioning, the CBI has summoned her parents to join the investigation as well.

According to Times Now, the CBI has issued a subpoena for Rhea’s parents, Indrajit and Sandhya Chakraborty. Not only that, but the ‘Jalebi’ actress along with her brother Showik Chakraborty will be questioned today for the fifth time.

Rhea’s parents were recently photographed leaving their residence for the DRDO boarding house with the Mumbai police. In addition to Rhea, the CBI has also been questioning Sushant’s roommate Siddharth Pithani, manager Samual Miranda, Shruti Modi, cook Neeraj Singh, domestic helper Keshav and accountant Rajat Mewati.

Meanwhile, Rhea’s lawyer had recently stated that the actress will take action against Sushant’s relatives for making false statements before all investigating authorities and the Supreme Court.

While the CBI investigates the case, the Compliance Directorate has also been conducting its own investigation from the money laundering angle. Apart from them, the Office of Narcotics Control has also contributed after the shocking revelation of the angle of drugs that emerged during the ED investigation.
