New Delhi / Mumbai: Amid money management allegations between Sushant Singh Rajput’s family and Rhea Chakraborty, Times Now accessed WhatsApp chats between the deceased actor and his bank manager. The chat, dated May 21, 2020, nearly a month before he was found hanging at his Mumbai residence, indicates that the Rajput was interested in taking control of his finances.
The chat shows Rajput looking for a call from his manager, one Harsh. The latter responds by saying that it would require the actor’s signatures and asks which email ID the forms can be sent to.
The revelation comes amid the ongoing war of words between the two parties in which the late actor’s family has alleged that Rhea Chakraborty was managing the finances of Sushant Singh Rajput. Her family has brought murder charges against Chakraborty and his relatives, Brother Showik Chakraborty and Father Indrajit Chakraborty, claiming that she “poisoned” and “drugged” Rajputs.

While Rhea Chakraborty has denied the drug angle, her attorney Satish Maneshinde has also stated that her client is willing to do a blood test to show that she has not used drugs.
Days ago, the lawyer for the Rajput family claimed that Chakraborty is trying to show that the family is floating in the ‘murder’ theory with an eye to Rajput life insurance money, which would be lost if the case is proven it is a suicide. However, Vikas Singh, the lawyer, denied such claims and said that Rajput did not have any life insurance policy.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) and the Office of Narcotics Control (NCB) are investigating all possible angles in the case and have questioned the Chakraborty family, as well as close associates of the late actor.
