Suryakumar Yadav, on Wednesday, not only showed his hitting skills with the bat, but also showed that he has a very cool head on his shoulder. The Mumbai Indians star responded to a Virat Kohli sled in style as he propelled his team to a resounding six wicket victory.

Suryakumar Yadav scored 79 unbeaten on just 43 balls to help the Mumbai Indians chase 165 with five balls to spare. His punch was peppered with ten fours and three sixes. Mumbai was reeling at 72-for-3 on one stage, but Suryakumar Yadav held on until the end to side with them at the finish line.

The initial contest:

Coming to the incident, it took place on the last ball of the 13. After hitting Dale Steyn for a four in the previous delivery, the right-handed hitter hit the final ball of the over into the decks where Virat Kohli was. The RCB captain fielded the ball and started walking towards Suryakumar Yadav.

Kohli stared at Suryakumar Yadav, and the latter did not take his eyes off the RCB patron either. The staring contest went on for a while as Kohli approached and stood right next to the Mumbai Indians batsman before the latter decided to leave without saying anything while leaving the RCB captain red-faced.

Kohli was definitely trying to get into Surya’s shoes, but the latter managed to stay calm and continued to do his job with the bat.
