The request for a CBI investigation into Disha’s death case was filed in August after the Supreme Court ordered a CBI investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.

Currently, the CBI is investigating the death of Sushant Singh Rajput from the angle that it is a suicide case. Apart from the CBI, the NCB and the ED are looking at the case from different angles.

The petition was submitted by lawyer Puneet Dhanda, who claimed that the deaths of Salian and Rajput are interconnected, as they occurred under suspicious circumstances.
