The Supernovae led by Harmanpreet Kaur broke into the final of the Women’s T20 Challenge with a two-run win over the Trailblazers in the final league game. Despite the loss, the Trailblazers led by Smriti Mandhana also advanced to the top clash, as their top net run rate was better than Velocity, the third team in the league. After posting challenging terrains of 146/6, Supernovas restricted their opponents to 144/5 terrains in 20 overs. Chasing the target, the Trailblazers got off to a good start when Smriti (33) and Deandra Dottin (27) added 44 runs before Shakera Selman (2/31) scalped the latter.
