Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Spicy Biryani Jibe after IPL win is too difficult for Rajasthan Royals to handle

Facing Sunrisers Hyderabad in Dubai on October 11, the Rajasthan Royals recorded a thrilling victory thanks to left-handed batter Rahul Tewatia, who broke an undefeated 45 and joined an 85-run winning partnership for the sixth wicket with Riyan Parag (42 of 26).

Tewatia was awarded Man of the Match for his efforts, while young Parag broke into the Bihu celebration dance after hitting Khaleel Ahmed for a six on the penultimate ball to take his team home for 5 wickets and make a surplus delivery.

After the victory, the official administrator of the Rajasthan Royals made a “request” for Biryani on Twitter to celebrate the victory and mark World Biryani Day.

His order, however, was canceled on Thursday by Sunrisers Hyderabad after David Warner’s camp defeated the “Halla Bol” contingent by 8 wickets to keep their hopes alive in this year’s IPL 2020 Play-offs.

Chasing the 155 total RR, SRH got off to the worst possible start. David Warner passed away once again before the Englishman Jofra Archer in the first change. Archer followed by sending starter Jonny Bairstow back to the dugout on his second over.

Manish Pandey entered who took advantage of the field restrictions and played a smooth 83 * (47) knock that was decorated with 8 maximums and 4 limits. At the other end was Vijay Shankar, whose practical 52 * tackles provided the perfect setting for SRH to record a comfortable win with 8 wickets in hand and 11 deliveries to spare.

Eager to joke on Twitter, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s official Twitter user poked fun at the Rajasthan Royals franchise after the must-win game.

“Cancel biryani order our friends can’t handle the spice level PS: Daal baati should work fine,” SRH wrote on Twitter, citing RR’s old tweet.

Cricket fans joined the party with more attacks on RR.

The crucial victory brought SRH to fifth place with 8 points, while the RR facing its seventh loss in 11 contests is now at # 7 on the points table.
