Actress Sunny Leone has reacted when another of her ‘namesakes’ showed academic excellence. She took to Twitter to share a fun post about a ‘naughty’ addition to a college merit list.
The first list for admission to BA (honors) in English at Ashutosh College in Kolkata published on their website had the actor’s name at the top. An application ID and registration number accompanied the name on the list with a perfect 400 score in the best of four subjects on the Cass 12 board exams.

Even Sunny found out about the merit list and decided to have a little fun with it. “See you in college next semester !!! I hope you are in my class;) ”, she wrote in her tweet.
A university official called it an act of “mischief.” “It is an act of mischief when someone deliberately submitted an incorrect application by spelling Leone’s name. We have asked the admissions department to correct it. We will also carry out an investigation into the incident, ”the official told PTI.
This is not the first time a Sunny Leone has risen to the top of a list of merits. Last year, the actor had “topped” the preliminary list for the junior engineer position in the Bihar Department of Public Health Engineering. The candidate claimed to have an engineering diploma with a score of 98.5 points. In reaction to that, Sunny tweeted: “HAHA, I’m so glad the OTHER me scored so well !!! LOL. “

However, the deputy secretary (management) of PHED Bihar had later said that the candidate could be a fake. “Yes, we have received an application for the position under the name of Sunny Leone whose father is called Leona Leone and she was born on May 13, 1991. She also claims to have an engineering degree with 98.5 points. However, we cannot confirm that this candidate app is genuine or not. This can be confirmed only after the document verification and certification process has been carried out, ”she said.
Sunny is currently in Los Angeles with her family. She flew to Los Angeles with her husband Daniel Weber and their children Nisha, Noah and Asher, after the coronavirus shutdown in India was lifted. She said she felt her family would be safer in the United States.
