Legendary Sunil Gavaskar found himself in the middle of a controversy on Friday for making a nasty comment against Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma after the Indian captain’s forgettable departure from the IPL. After dropping two catches, Kohli, arguably one of the best when it comes to chases, missed the bat, handling just a five-ball run against Kings XI Punjab here Thursday night.

In the comment box, Gavaskar came up with a comment involving the Kohli actor’s wife, Anushka. The comment was in bad taste and did not sit well with fans of the RCB patron, with some of them urging the BCCI to remove Gavaskar from the comment panel.
