The Tamil hero Karthi was paired with Rashmika Mandanna for a new movie, Sulthan. The film marks Rashmika’s debut in Tamil. The film will be released in both Telugu and Tamil with the same title. The creators released the teaser for the movie which is packed with action.
Sulthan’s teaser reveals the faces of many talented actors. It implies that the film has many antagonists. The teaser begins with a character talking about Mahabharata and Lord Krishna. The teaser uses some Mahabharatha references while introducing the characters. Karthi plays Sulthan in the movie and in one scene, he asks the opposite person to re-imagine what would have happened if Krishna had supported Kauravas, rather than Pandavas in Mahabharata.
From the preview, we understand that Karthi’s role will be similar to that of Lord Krishna from Mahabharatha, but with a twist. Bakkiyaraj Kannan has written and directed the project. Dream Warrior Pictures is on board as producers.
Sharing the teaser for the film, Karthi wrote, “#Sulthan, an honest effort to bring a family entertainer complete with humor, romance, action, and a strong man-to-man relationship. Hope you all like it. “
Rashmika, who debuts in Kollywood with Sulthan, shared the teaser and wrote, “Introducing the teaser for #Sulthan, a perfect family artist.”
Sulthan will hit screens on April 2, 2021.
