The director of the Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Dr. Randeep Guleria, emphasized on Saturday the importance of early detection of Covid-19 to improve the speed of mortality.

Guleria said many people worry about going back to the hospital and being examined by Covid-19. “There is still a stigma associated with Covid-19,” he said, including {that a delay in the affected person’s admission to hospital will increase mortality.

In addition, he asked older people to take precautions during the coronavirus disaster. Older people and people with comorbidities are at the next risk of getting an extreme Covid-19 infection.

“If you have older people at home, you should be more cautious. Get a health checkup immediately after observing mild symptoms, “he said.
