Asked to hit first, splendid shots by Saha (87), skipper David warner (66) and Manish Pandey (44) led the Sunrisers to 219 for two.
Star spinner Rashid then led an excellent bowling display to finish an impressive 4-0-7-3 figures, his best this season.

The Afghan shot a staggering 17 points in his quota of four overs, helping his team to outscore the Capitals by 131 in 19 overs.
The Sunrisers (10 points) have now moved up to sixth place from seventh with this victory, while the Capitals, who fell to their third consecutive loss, were pushed to third place with 14 points.
Pursuing a rigid target was a pretty ordinary performance from the Capitals hitters. Shikhar Dhawan (0) and Marcus Stoinis (5), who was raised to number 3, perished in the first two overs.

Ajinkya Rahane (26) and Shimron Heytmyer (16) quickly began the recovery work, stitching together a 40-run bleacher, the highest for their team. The duo targeted Jason Holder, collecting 22 runs in the sixth over when Delhi reached 54 for two at the end of the Powerplay overs.
However, Rashid dealt Delhi twin blows, ditching Rahane and Hetmyer in the seventh. Captain Shreyas Iyer (7) was the next to leave, as the grounds continued to fall at regular intervals.
Seven of Delhi’s batters failed to reach double digits and Rishabh Pant (36) was the leading scorer.

While Rashid was the bowlers’ choice for Sunrisers, Sandeep Sharma (2/27) and T Natarajan (2/26) chose two fields each. Vijay Shankar (1/11), Shahbaz Nadeem (1/8), Holder (1/46) each took a wicket.
Earlier, the two starters, Warner, who was looking good, and Saha, who was playing his second game of the season, went after the Delhi bowling early on.
Taking full advantage of field restrictions, the duo broke the limits (11 fours and two sixes) each time to rack up 77 runs in the first six overs, the best Poweplay figures of the season.
In the sixth over, Warner crushed Kagiso Rabada (0/54), the tournament’s leading scorer, by four limits and one six, helping the Sunrisers reach 100 runs in just 8.4 overs.
Until Warner took on the bowlers, Saha played second violin to perfection.

The Australian celebrated his 34th birthday with a half-century of just 25 balls, hitting two sixes and eight fours at the Dubai International Stadium.
To Delhi’s relief, Ravichandran Ashwin (1/35) broke the 107-run starting position on lap 10 when he fired the dangerous man Warner, who was caught in additional cover by Axar Patel.
With Warner out, Saha hit Capitals bowlers all over the park. The wicketkeeper hitter hit his fifties in style with a cap. He looted 12 fours and two sixes before pacemaker Anrich Nortje (1/37) sacked him in 15th.
Pandey and Kane Williamsion (11 not eliminated) continued the assault on a listless Delhi bowling unit.
