The sunrise troubles were amplified when Ravindra Jadeja eliminated the dangerous Bairstow with the team battling 60 for three in the middle of the stage.
With Priyam Garg (16) at his side, Williamson kept the score going with Sunrisers needing 75 of 36 balls.
But as soon as the Sunrisers looked to return to the chase, Jadeja caught the youngster in deep midwicket with a delivery from Karn Sharma in the 15th.

Vijay Shankar (12) did not last long as the New Zealand skipper watched helplessly from the other side.
With the pressure mounting, Williamson had no choice but to go for the big shot, which resulted in him getting caught long. Rashid Khan contributed 14 of eight balls in a losing cause.

Desperate to break their two-game losing streak, CSK chose to hit. The three-time champions sent young England all-rounder Sam Curran in place of Watson to open the innings with Faf du Plessis.
Sharma drew first blood from the Sunrisers, eliminating du Plessis early in the third over. The South African slipped one to Jonny Bairstow on the first ball he faced for a golden duck.
Curran got off to a brilliant start, crushing Ahmed by the first limit of the match in the second round. He continued his onslaught at the pacemaker by hitting him with two fours and six sixes in the fourth over, rushing to 31 of 21 balls.
But Curran’s time in the middle was ended by Sharma, who came around the wicket to launch a good-length shot at an angle to the stump of the leg. CSK finished the power play at 44/2 with both starters back on the bench.
With pacemaker Sandeep Sharma representing the two starters at Powerplay, Watson and Rayudu joined a valuable 81-run partnership. The duo initially held the scoreline by marking with occasional limits on a dry but tired surface, but upped the ante at 15, beating Rashid Khan by six apiece.
Ahmed broke the stands by getting rid of Rayudu, who was caught at long distance by skipper David Warner. Watson soon followed up with Natarajan firing the Australian. The pacemaker then went on to claim Dhoni’s wicket as well.
