The injuries sustained by key players have worried most teams in the current edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) suffered the most so far with two of its main players, Mitchell marsh and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, out of the tournament. Marsh was injured in their first game, while Bhuvi suffered an injury while bowling against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) last week.
Jason Holder has already joined the team as a replacement for Marsh, while on Monday, SRH took another big hit with Bhuvneshwar KumarNews of. It will take about six weeks for you to regain your fitness level. And the franchise has chosen another pacemaker, Prithvi Raj Yarra, as his replacement.
SRH’s official Twitter user confirmed the news and also wished his bowler a speedy recovery. Prithvi Raj Yarra played for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and participated in two games before being shut out. He caught a wicket and threw five overs in his limited appearances.

Prithvi Raj Yarra has not played a T20 since April 2019
Interestingly, Prithvi Raj Yarra hasn’t played a single T20 game since he played in the IPL last year. However, his record is impressive in the rest of the game’s formats. The 22-year-old left arm pacemaker has chosen 39 wickets in 11 first-class matches with an average of 21.51. On list 11 on the A list, the youngster has sent 15 batters to the pavilion and looks like an exciting prospect on the season.
Prithvi is the third left-arm seamer on the SRH team T Natarajan and Khaleel Ahmed also present. While Natarajan has impressed the majority of bowlers in the current IPL season so far, the latter was left out in the previous game after a few outings. It was also interesting to see if the management prefers Prithvi over Khaleel once he joins the team.
However, SRH will miss their main pitcher, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, after the way his pacemakers were hit in the first outing. Next time they will face the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) on Thursday in Dubai and will look to get back on the winning track having already lost three matches out of five.
