This is nonsense of (literally) epic proportions! We all know that the television series ‘Mahabharat’ is shown in Doordarshan currently in the midst of a national blockade. Now, some hawk-eyed viewers have seen great nonsense on the show.
A photo of actor Mukesh Khanna who played Bhishma Pitamah on the BR Chopra show is hanging around on social media. The actor dressed in his character is seen sitting on a golden throne and just behind him, a desert refrigerator is clearly visible.
Twitter was quick enough to make a comparison to a now-famous image from the sets of the last season of ‘Game of Thrones’ last year, where a cup of coffee had hit a crucial scene.

The replay of the popular program began after the government announced a complete shutdown in India to curb the spread of the new coronavirus in early April.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has decided to televise some of the old classic DD shows in the middle of the shutdown so that the whole family can sit and watch.
‘Ramayan’, ‘Circus’, ‘Buniyaad’, ‘Byomkesh Bakshi’ are some of the programs currently broadcast on DD.
