CALCUTTA: BCCI President and former captain of India Sourav Ganguly He was admitted to a hospital in his hometown Calcutta on Saturday after suffering what has been called “mild cardiac arrest.”
Ganguly reportedly complained of dizziness after a training session at the gym on Saturday morning and was rushed to Woodlands Hospital, where findings of “mild cardiac arrest” emerged. He is scheduled to have more tests along with an angioplasty.
PTI quoted a hospital official as saying: “Now he is stable. We are checking if this pain is due to some heart problem or not. He needs to undergo several tests.”
Chief Minister of State Mamata Banerjee also tweeted about the development, wishing Ganguly a “speedy recovery.”
