All Shweta Bachchan wanted to do was wish Mom Jaya on her birthday with an adorable birthday wish. But somehow that gave way to Shweta’s daughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, and brother Abhishek Bachchan to have fun at their expense. In her birthday greeting message for Mom Jaya, Shweta borrowed a few lines from the e cummings poem. I carry your heart with me and wrote: “I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart) I am never without him (wherever he goes, go …) – Happy birthday, mom; I love you.” Well, Navya thought that Shweta was clearly “daydreaming” about being Jaya Bachchan’s favorite and wrote, “Here you are daydreaming too.” While Abhishek responded to Navya’s comment with a sarcastic reply, he wrote, “At least, she’s not on the phone.” It seems that Shweta is guilty of dealing with his phone all the time.
“Very funny,” is all she was able to answer. Aww.
Shweta and Abhishek keep taunting each other on social media with these casual pranks. In Shweta’s birthday post for Navya this year, Abhishek said “Maggie is going to kill you for that photo.” Why Abhishek thought Navya would be furious at Shweta’s post is perhaps because his eyes are closed in the shot.
Meanwhile, in an episode of Koffee With Karan, Abhishek had revealed that Shweta is Amitabh Bachchan’s favorite in the house, while Jaya is biased towards him. Abhishek also said that only Shweta’s son Agastya presents the perfect returns to Shweta’s sass exhibit and “puts it in its place.” Both Navya and Agastya appear frequently on Shweta’s Instagram. Meanwhile, Shweta is not entirely in favor of Navya joining the film industry.
