Ashok Saraogi, the lawyer for former Sushant Singh Rajput manager Shruti Modi, has said that his client was aware of the actor’s drug use and had expressed a desire to distance himself from him. After she told Sushant that she wanted to resign as his manager, the actor insisted that Shruti stay, the lawyer said.
In an interview for The Times of India, Saraogi said: “When she found out (about Sushant’s drug use) after 10 days of joining, Shruti decided to quit smoking, but Sushant told her to stay behind and told her that he I wasn’t going to party. the. So she continued to work as her manager with this condition. “He said Shruti’s name has been dragged into the investigation because she refused to comply with certain demands of Sushant’s family.” She may not have followed the instructions of the sister, so they may have some complaints. Recently leaked chat messages between Shruti and Sushant’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, seemed to suggest that the celebrity manager was aware of Sushant’s marijuana use. Her lawyer’s comments come a day after Sushant and Rhea’s advice was spoken in the press.

At a press conference on Wednesday, Vikas Singh, the attorney hired by Sushant’s father in his case against Rhea, spoke on various topics related to the case. Commenting on leaked WhatsApp conversations suggesting that Sushant’s sisters were familiar with her psychological problems and arranged for her to get medication on June 8, she said: “This medication is for anxiety. Consult with any psychiatrist. Anxiety is mentioned in the FIR. “
In a previous interview with Pinkvilla, he had said that Sushant never used hard drugs. “Sushant was a fitness fanatic, someone who believed in yoga and meditation. He never used hard drugs or had such a clandestine lifestyle and use, ”he said.
The Office of Narcotics Control is investigating a drugs angle in the case of Sushant’s death, while the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Enforcement Directorate are conducting separate investigations into the actor’s death. Sushant died on June 14. Rhea has been accused of being an accessory to her suicide.
