Shraddha Kapoor’s father, Shakti Kapoor, to be the narcotics agent in a film inspired by the late Sushant Singh Rajput | Hindi Movie News

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor was questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) as part of their investigation into a possible drug angle in the death of Sushant Singh Rajput on Saturday. Meanwhile, her father, veteran actor Shakti Kapoor, has been cast as a narcotics officer in an upcoming film inspired by the life of the late actor Sushant.

Kapoor rehearsed a narcotics officer in the movie ‘Nyaay: The Justice’, which incidentally has the backing of Sarla A. Saraogi, whose husband Ashok M. Saraogi represents former Sushant manager Shruti Modi in the investigations at course.

Reporting on the same, the film’s lead actor, Zuber K. Khan, told IANS: “Aman Verma is playing an ER officer, Shakti Kapoor sir is playing the narcotics officer and Sudha Chandran ji is playing a CBI officer in the movie. ”

Although the casting is done, the three actors have not started filming yet.

Zuber plays a character named Mahendra Singh, or Mahi, inspired by Sushant Singh Rajput, while actress Shreya Shukla plays a character named Urvashi, inspired by Sushant’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty.

The actor reported that the casting is almost complete for characters inspired by actresses Sara Ali Khan, Ankita Lokhande and Kriti Sanon, who had close ties to Sushant at different stages of their real life, in addition to their ex-manager Disha Salian and the former -business manager Shruti Modi.

“Filming has begun. The story is getting bigger and more characters are being included. The casting of characters like Ankita (Lokhande), Kriti Sanon, Sara Ali Khan, Sushant’s family, his sisters, the lawyer and even the former manager Disha are almost done. Salian and Shruti Modi, their staff, their cook and friends, “said Zuber.

Former Bigg Boss contestant Somi Khan will be playing Sushant’s ex-manager Disha Salian, who passed away on June 8, six days before the actor’s death on June 14.

The investigation into Sushant’s death has now turned toward investigating alleged links to Bollywood drugs. The film also explores this angle.

“I have filmed a scene where he is seen in a high state. He has not been shown doping, but he is drugged and that shows. Then there is a scene where the characters of Rhea and Sushant are seen smoking and drinking while they discuss something. Regardless of what the audience is learning from the media reports (regarding drugs), little of that will be shown in the film, although that angle is not emphasized, “Zuber added.

In addition, he reported that all the speculation about Sushant’s death will be taken into account in the film: the speculated murder and the angles of the suicide.

The movie has four songs, including a dance number, considering that Sushant was a very good dancer.

Directed by Dilip Gulati, ‘Nyaay: The Justice’ is backed by Rahul Sharma. Filming is expected to finish in mid-October and manufacturers are expecting a December release.
