Shooter Vartika Singh goes to court against Smriti Irani and 2 others

Vartika Singh alleged that two “aides” of Smriti Irani asked her for money

Sultanpur:

International attacker Vartika Singh has filed a lawsuit to accuse Union Minister Smriti Irani and two other people of demanding money to make her a member of the central women’s commission, days after she herself was appointed to a police report.

The MP-MLA court has set January 2 for a hearing after which it will decide whether the case falls under its jurisdiction, according to its attorney.

The shooter alleged that people close to the minister sent her a false letter, naming her as a member of the central commission for women, a possible reference to the National Commission for Women.

She alleged that Vijay Gupta and Rajnish Singh, the two “aides” of the Union minister, initially demanded Rs 1 crore from her and then reduced the amount to Rs 25 lakh.

He also alleged that one of the men spoke to him in an obscene manner.

However, on 23 November, Vijay Gupta had filed a complaint against the attacker and another person at the Musafirkhana Police Station in Amethi District, accusing them of bringing unfounded charges against him and trying to spoil his image.

Based on the complaint, the police had filed an FIR against him.

Vartika Singh, however, claimed that the complaint was filed after she threatened to report “corruption”.
