Shiv Sena Activists Hit Kangana Ranaut Poster With Slippers Saying ‘Mumbai Is Addicted To Blood’

Shiv Sena activists held protests on Friday against Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut over her recent comments targeting Mumbai, her police and her Taliban mockery of state Interior Minister Anil Deshmukh.

On Friday afternoon, the Dindoshi Vidhan Sabha constituency women’s wing protested by hitting Kangana’s effigy and posters with shoes and slippers and shouting “Kangana Ranaut haye haye” and “Kangana Ranaut hosh mein aao”.

Protests also took place in other parts of Mumbai, including the suburbs. Widespread protests were held in cities such as Thane, Palghar, Pune, Aurangabad, Nashik.

This came after Kangana Ranaut made several comments targeting the city of Mumbai comparing it to POK, calling the Mumbai police “a sham on behalf of the police force” and mocking politicians using the word “Taliban”.

“Kangana has no right to stay in Mumbai, we will make sure that she cannot enter Mumbai, we will beat her to death with stones and sticks, just like we lynched Palghar Sadhus. How you promoted from POK to Taliban in one day is commendable” the actress tweeted on Friday afternoon.

“If you are openly threatening to lynch me like Palghar Sadhus with stones and rods if I go to Mumbai it is only because you got away with it, killed innocent people and faced no consequences, this has empowered you, we want #CBIForPalghar #CBIForPalgharLynching,”, wrote in a separate tweet.

In response to a news story that Maharashtra Interior Minister Anil Deshmukh said Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut “has no right to stay” in Mumbai and Maharashtra, the actress tweeted: “He is taking his own calls about my democratic rights, from the POK to the Taliban In one day. “

The protests took place across the state following the taunting of Kangana on Twitter, where political activists raised slogans condemning the actress, stoned her posters and beat them with shoes, and also burned her posters and effigies.

In response to a news story showing a video of the women’s protests in Dindoshi, the actress tweeted: “After the murder of Sushant and Sadhus now hitting my posters with chappals to express my views on the administration, it seems Mumbai is addicted to the blood”.

Ranaut, 33, is currently in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. The controversy erupted after the actor attacked the Mumbai police several times over the investigation into the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput.
