Stock Market News Today | Sensex, Nifty, stock prices LIVE: National equity benchmarks were improving on Friday morning amid positive signals from their global peers. S&P BSE Sensex peaked at 51,821 during the first hours of trading, while Nifty 50 was above 15,300. ONGC, Axis Bank, L&T and HDFC Bank were the main winners of the index. Bajaj Auto, Sun Pharma and HUL were in the red. Volatility declined further south when India’s VIX fell 3% below 20 levels. Among the NSE industry indices, only Nifty FMCG and Pharma fell in the red. The broader markets were in line with the benchmark indices.
Anupam Rasayan’s initial public offering (IPO) of Rs 760 crore opens for subscription today. The company is looking to sell shares in the price band of Rs 553-555 per share. Investors can bid for a minimum of 27 equity shares and in multiples thereafter, which translates to a minimum investment of Rs 14,985. Prior to the issue, Anupam Rasayan has raised Rs 224 crore from 15 anchor investors. The company informed the exchanges that it had allocated Rs 40.48 thousand of shares to 18 anchor investors at Rs 555 per share. Nomura Funds Ireland Public Ltd Company, Fidelity International, Sundaram MF, SBI Life Insurance Co, IIFL Special Opportunities Fund and Aditya Birla Sunlife Mutual Fund are among the anchor investors.
