Share market news today | Sensex, Nifty, Stock Prices LIVE: The national stock market benchmark indices BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading volatile after climbing record highs at the opening of trading on Wednesday. BSE Sensex hovered around 48,500, while the broader Nifty 50 index was above 14,200 levels. The main winners of BSE Sensex were ONGC, Titan Company, NTPC, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finsv, Bharti Airtel, among others. Of 30 Sensex shares, 9 scrips were trading in the red with HCL Technologies falling 0.7 percent. Axis Bank, ITC, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), RIL, HUL were among BSE Sensex’s top laggards. In night trading on Wall Street, US indices ended higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed more than half a percent higher, the S&P 500 gained 0.71 percent and the Nasdaq Composite added nearly one percent.
President Ram Nath Kovind will address the joint session of the two Houses of Parliament on January 29, a Friday, and the Union Budget will be presented on February 1, said PTI sources citing the CCPA’s recommendations. The Economic Survey would be released at the Lok Sabha on January 29 after the president’s speech, the sources said.
