Stock Market News Today | Sensex, Nifty, Stock Prices LIVE: The national stock market benchmark indices BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading higher on Monday. BSE Sensex jumped over 250 points to hit a new record of 46,346.90 while the broader Nifty 50 ruled at an all-time high of 13,583. The main winners of Sensex were ONGC, L&T, NTPC, Tata Steel, Power Grid of India, ICICI Bank, Sun Pharma, State Bank of India (SBI), HCL Tech, among others. On the other hand, Nestlé India, Tech Mahindra and Bajaj-Auto were the main laggards of BSE Sensex in today’s upbeat trading session. Except for the Nifty Realty Index, all industry indices were trading higher, led by the Nifty Metal and Nifty PSU Bank indices. The Nifty Pharma index also gained nearly one percent.
Burger King shares made their debut on Dalal Street today at Rs 115.35 per share, 92% more than the issue price of Rs 59-60 per share. The stock spiked even higher at the opening bell and was seen trading at Rs 119.5 each minute thereafter. Burger King’s initial public offering was massively underwritten by investors of all categories earlier this month.
