Sharad Pawar, head of the CPN, on the demolition of the Kangana Ranaut office: the state government had no role in it | Hindi Movie News

The head of the Nationalist Congress Party, Sharad Pawar, reacted to the demolition of the office of actor Kangana Ranaut.

He said: “The decision was made by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The state government had no role in it. BMC did it by following their rules and regulations. ”

On September 9, the BMC demolished what they claimed were “illegal” parts of Kangana’s office in Mumbai. This came after his war of words with Shiv Sena’s deputy, Sanjay Raut. This attracted a lot of attention after the actress compared Mumbai to Pakistani-occupied Kashmir. After her controversial tweet, many B-town celebrities tweeted in support of the city of Mumbai and praised the Mumbai police.

Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Renuka Shahane, among others supported Kangana on Twitter. They condemned the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s demolition campaign at the Manikarnika Films office.

The BMC also exempted Kangana from the 14-day home quarantine. According to the PTI report, a senior BMC official said he had made an online request for the home quarantine exemption while on a short visit. “Since she is staying here for less than a week, she was exempted under the ‘short-term visitor category,” the officer said.
