Shahid Kapoor has shared a romantic photo with his wife Mira Rajput as the couple enjoyed the winter rain after Diwali. Shahid and Mira celebrated Diwali at home with their children amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Shahid wrote: “Just what I need on a rainy winter afternoon.” It shows Mira, with a scarf tied to her face like a mask, leaning against Shahid’s chest as the two look at the camera. Mira is also seen flaunting her huge wedding ring while placing her hand on her chest. The twinned couple can be seen in black as they click on a picture in their home.
Mira and Shahid had also chosen black ethnic ensembles for Diwali celebrations. The two shared a photo of themselves together on Instagram to wish their fans at the festival. Happy Diwali to all of you. Love and light, ”he wrote. Mira had captioned the same image, “Grateful for the family, the little joys and being together. Happy Diwali. ”While Shahid was wearing an embroidered kurta, Mira dressed in a matching outfit.
Shahid had previously shared a glimpse of Diwali rangoli at his home and wrote a moving message on the auspicious occasion: “Happy Diwali everyone. For the messy rangolis and the priceless family time. Feed the heart with love. Everything else will come and go, ”he wrote.

On the professional front, the actor has been working on the long-awaited sports drama Jersey. Jersey’s plot revolves around a father and son. Arjun (rehearsed by Shahid), a talented but unsuccessful cricketer, decides to return to cricket in the late 1930s, driven by a desire to represent the Indian cricket team and fulfill his son’s wish for a jersey as a gift.
