Actor Shah Rukh Khan gave his fans a sweet treat by hosting a ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Twitter on Tuesday. Shah Rukh accepted questions and requests, some from her die-hard fans and others from rude Twitter trolls, answering them in her usual witty way.
A troll asked if the actor planned to sell his house. “Bhai Mannat bechne wale ho kya,” they had asked. Responding to his tweet, Shah Rukh wrote: “Bhai Mannat bikti nahi sar jhuka kar maangi jaati hai …. yaad rakhoge toh life mein kuch paa sakogay (Brother, you can’t sell Mannat – Urdu word for a sentence – but asked for it with your head bowed. Remember this if you want to achieve something in life).
A fan asked Shah Rukh what gift he had given his wife Gauri Khan on their recent wedding anniversary. Shah Rukh replied, “What gift can I give the greatest gift of my life?” Another fan asked what they should eat to become like Shah Rukh. The actor joked, “This is a joke… I read it some time ago. I’m not serious, it’s just a joke … ‘people say you’re going to eat, but I don’t remember ever eating a legend.
Shah Rukh also teased his fans about an upcoming project. When someone asked him if he would see his movie Dilwale Dulhania Layenge in Dubai, he said, “I won’t really wait to see a new movie of mine in theaters, maybe.” Will start filming, then post-production and then theaters to normalize … It will take about a year, I think, ”he said.
Shah Rukh’s last release was 2018’s Zero with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The film was a flop and he has not announced his next project since.
