NEW DELHI: Interior Minister Amit Shah, who recently recovered after testing positive for Covid-19, is ready to resume his political activities with a visit to west bengal later this month to address BJP workers in the state, who will go to the polls next year. During a meeting with high-ranking members of the state BJP, Shah hinted at his visit to the state before the Durga Puja festivals to interact with party workers.
Shah and party chairman JP Nadda held a lengthy discussion with members of his West Bengal unit on the party’s strategy for the state assembly elections, which are expected in the first half of 2021.
