Seven deaths, 786 people test positive for COVID-19 so far, Maharashtra police say

The statement added that there have been 200 incidents of assault on police personnel during the emergency shutdown period and 732 defendants have been detained by it.

The police department also said it has so far handled 87,893 dial 100 calls that were related to COVID-19.
