The telecommunications company has sold its 11.15% stake in Indus Towers for a cash consideration of ₹Rs 3,760 crore in accordance with the terms of the agreement and outside the consideration received from Infratel. Virus could disrupt global recovery: IMF

Oil prices fall on demand concerns amid spike in covid cases
Oil prices in the United States fell on Friday, falling for a second day as concerns mounted about the impact on demand due to the increase in Covid-19 infections that forced new lockdowns.
West Texas Intermediate fell 9 cents, or 0.2%, to $ 41.65 a barrel at 0039 GMT, after falling about 0.2% on Thursday. Brent crude was not yet trading, having fallen 0.3% in the previous session. The contracts are heading for a third week of earnings.

Gland Pharma listing today
The company launched its IPO between November 9 and 11, which was subscribed 2.06 times. The company, owned by Fosun of China, raised ₹6,480 million rupees through a public issue.
This is the largest initial public offering in the pharmaceutical sector to date. The successful IPO will see the company join the ranks of India’s top 100 companies by market capitalization, at issue price. Gland had set a price band of ₹1,490-1,500 per share for the IPO.
The successful public offering will also make Gland Pharma the first Chinese-owned company to list on the Indian stock markets.

Serum can sell Oxford vaccine for ₹ 600 per dose in pharmacies

Indian stock markets may be under pressure
Indian stock markets may be under pressure on Friday, while trends in SGX Nifty suggest a flat-to-positive open for national benchmarks.

Wall Street closes higher
Wall Street finished in positive territory on Thursday, as fresh hopes for stimulus boosted investor sentiment towards the end of a session plagued by concerns about shutdowns and layoffs linked to rising rates of covid infection.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.15%, the S&P 500 gained 0.39% and the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.87%.
