Security in front of the home field of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been reinforced as a precautionary measure following recent threats of rape against his five-year-old daughter Ziva.
The alleged threats surfaced on the Instagram accounts of Dhoni and his wife Sakshi after the Chennai-based franchise suffered a 10-race loss at the hands of Dinesh Karthik’s Kolkata Knight Riders in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

Taking control of the issue, Ranchi Police have been alert and stepped up security at the Dhoni farm, where the player’s wife and daughter are currently staying while the former Indian batsman is in the United Arab Emirates ( UAE) for the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Reports on various media portals have claimed that in addition to increasing patrols in the Simaliya area, some plainclothes police personnel have also been deployed outside the Dhoni farm to closely monitor suspicious elements.
“The frequency of patrolling near Dhoni’s farm has increased. We are closely monitoring the movement of suspicious items near the house. In addition, a reserve platoon has also been kept at a distance from his farm to deal with any requirement”. ”Said the New Indian Express quoting Rural SP Naushad Alam.

Previously, Ziva rape threats created massive outrage on social media, with people from all walks of life denouncing such behavior.
It should be noted that the stories of the trolls who threatened the girl with rape and physical violence while venting their frustration over Dhoni’s poor form in the countryside are being denounced for the use of abusive behavior against minors and women.
Incidents of expressing frustration on players after a loss by fans are not unheard of. The houses of the players have been thrown with stones and their effigies and posters have also been burned. However, the incident of targeting a player’s daughter had not been heard before.
Recently, actress Anuskha Sharma was once again the target of her husband’s Virat Kohli bad acting.
On a related note, CSK is currently in sixth place on the 2020 IPL points table with just two wins from seven matches. The MS Dhoni team will face Sunrisers Hyderabad on October 13.
