NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Thursday he said that he will issue his order on Friday on a batch of petitions seeking the initiation of criminal proceedings for contempt of stand-up comic book artist Kunal Kamra for his alleged scandalous tweets against the Supreme Court.
The pleas came to a hearing before a bank headed by Justice Ashok Bhushan that he heard presentations from attorney Nishant R. Katneshwarkar, who appeared for one of the petitioners and claimed that Kamra had posted several scandalous tweets for the judiciary.
