SBI has invited applications for the apprenticeship.

The State Bank of India (SBI) has invited applications to recruit 8,500 apprentices. Application forms are available online on the SBI website and can be completed and submitted by candidates by December 10. The online examination for the selection of trainees will take place in January 2021, the SBI said. There will be no interview and candidates who qualify for the online exam will appear for a local language test.

Graduates between the ages of 20 and 28 as of October 31, 2020 are eligible for the position. “The maximum age indicated is for candidates without reservation and EWS. The relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable according to the guidelines of the Government of India for SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates,” it was mentioned in the notification.
The duration of the apprenticeship is 3 years. “The selected apprentices must be willing to qualify in the IIBF (JAIIB / CAIIB) exams during 3 years of participation as apprentices in the Bank,” he said in the notification.
On the salary of apprentices, SBI has said that “apprentices are eligible to receive a stipend of Rs 15,000 per month for the first year, Rs 16,500 per month for the second year and Rs 19,000 per month for the third year. They are not eligible for any other allowances / benefits. “
