SBI 2020 Recruitment: Application Process Begins for 8,500 Apprenticeship Openings – Education


The State Bank of India has invited online applications for the participation of 8,500 apprentices in various areas. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at sbi.co.in between November 20 and December 10. The exam is expected to take place in January 2021.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have completed graduation from a recognized University / Institute by October 31, 2020.

Age limit: Minimum 20 years old and maximum 28 years old as of 10.31.2020, that is, candidates must have been born no earlier than 11/01/1992 and no later than 10/31/2000 (both days inclusive). The maximum age listed is for unreserved and EWS candidates. Relaxation at the upper age limit is applicable as per the Government of India guidelines for SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates.

Stipend:

Trainees are eligible for a stipend of Rs. 15000 / – per month for the first year, Rs. 16500 / – per month for the second year, and Rs. 19000 / – per month for the third year. Apprentices are not eligible for any other subsidy / benefit.

Selection process:

Selection for hiring apprentices would be based on (i) an online written test and (ii) a local language test.
