Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh Named In Drug Case: NCB Denies Prepared ‘Bollywood List’ After Rhea Chakraborty Statement | Hindi Movie News

Rhea Chakraborty was interrogated for days by the Bureau of Narcotics for alleged links to drug traffickers and, according to NCB sources, the actress had named 25 Bollywood celebrities. According to a Times Now report, Rhea had named Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and designer Simone Khambatta as those who used narcotic substances. However, refuting these claims, Free Press Journal quoted NCB deputy editor KPS Malhotra as stating that they have not yet prepared any Bollywood lists. She also claimed that the previously prepared list was of street vendors and traffickers, which is being confused with Bollywood.

Previous reports suggested that Rhea had provided the NCB with the names of several Bollywood actors, directors and producers, who allegedly had ties to drug traffickers. Rhea had named some 25 Bollywood celebrities to the A-list for engaging in drug acquisition, use and trafficking and the NCB is ready to summon them.

Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the NCB last week, while investigating the angle of drug abuse in the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput. A special court in Mumbai on Friday had rejected the bail applications of Rhea and her brother Showik. The brothers are expected to come to Superior Court today to request bail. For now, Rhea is in judicial custody until September 22 and is housed in Byculla Jail. The drugs angle was discovered after the Directorate of Enforcement, which is investigating the money laundering angle, allegedly shared Rhea’s chat logs with the NCB after they found a mention of drugs.
