Sandip Ssingh says in retrospect, ‘maybe being with Sushant Singh Rajput’s family was wrong’ – bollywood

Filmmaker Sandip Ssingh has said that in hindsight, perhaps he should not have supported Sushant Singh Rajput’s family after the actor’s death on June 14. Sandip has been questioned about his relationship with the actor, especially since neither Sushant’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, nor her family. they have claimed to know who he is. To prove his credentials, Sandip recently shared screenshots of his text conversations with Sushant over the years.

In an interview for The Times of India, Sandip said: “Today, I feel like maybe going and being with the family was wrong. Maybe he should have acted selfishly and not gone there to support them in their time of need. “

Sandip said that he went to Sushant’s house on the day of her death simply because she felt it was the right thing to do and took care of the formalities because none of her other friends were there and her sister was alone. “I stayed with my friend’s family, unlike others who chose to stay home. That is not a crime! ” he said.

Sandip was seen not only at Sushant’s home, but also at the hospital where the actor’s body was taken and at his funeral the next day. Several questions were subsequently raised about Sandip, who confessed not having been in contact with Sushant for more than a year before his death. Vikas Singh, the lawyer representing Sushant’s father, had said in an interview with Pinkvilla: “Meetu (Sushant’s sister) was devastated after seeing Sushant’s body, so she went and was lying in the room, so he (Sandip) only saw one opportunity and took over. No one in the family knows him, how did he get there? Suddenly how did it start to take over? Since there was no one from the family there, there was a vacancy for him. I suppose it should have been (Siddharth) Pithani who should have been there and not Sandip. “

He said that even his family is concerned, because for the past 20 days, the mediators have been stationed outside his home and are ‘crossing their limits’. She said: “My friends, my mother and my family rebuked me for being there for Sushant’s family. They said, ‘You made a mistake going there. You shouldn’t have gone there. Tune in to bail mujhe maar wala kaam kar diya (you asked for trouble). Baaki industrywale, your friends are smart, but you are an emotional fool to go help. ‘
