Actor Samyuktha Hegde posted a video on social media where she claims how she and her three friends were abused and assaulted by a woman while exercising in a park in Bangalore. In the video, Samyuktha also shared how several men in the park joined the woman and insulted her.
“It so happened that we were three girls exercising and doing hoola-hoops when an old woman came and attacked us. He said that we are dancing cabaret and we even hit one of my friends, ”shared Samyuktha in the video where she is visibly shocked by the incident.

The actress recorded the entire incident on her phone and even posted on Instagram to share her side of the story. She shared how the woman accused her and her friends of indecent behavior, of “stripping in public” and commented on her clothes while they worked out in her sportswear. Samyuktha added: “They tried to beat us, defame us and now we are being asked to apologize and leave instead of creating a scene here.”
“We have the video of the woman beating us and we show it to the police, and the police only support her,” the actor shared about his ordeal. Some people present at the scene joined her live Instagram to say that “the girls did not do anything inappropriate.”
Sharing the video on Instagram, Samyuktha wrote, “this is wrong.”
